The annual Business Orange Awards program is the opportunity for local businesses, their staff and business leaders to be recognised for all their outstanding work. Submissions are confidential and sent to a panel of independent judges sourced through Business NSW. They are then scored and ranked against assessment criteria based on their submission.

The People’s Choice Awards are nominated and voted on by the people of Orange using a sophisticated online voting system that removes excessive duplication of votes by IP address. 

Businesses in 2024 could enter up to two categories and were automatically entered into Excellence in Micro, Small or Large business depending on their size. Businesses less than two years old could only enter the Outstanding New Business Category.
