The annual Business Orange Awards program is the opportunity for local businesses, their staff and business leaders to be recognised for their outstanding work and contribution.

How does voting work?
- Voting for nominated businesses will open to the Orange community on 1st August 2025.
- Only one vote per person in each category is allowed.
- To ensure the awards are as fair as possible, our online voting system removes duplicate votes by identifying voter IP addresses.
How do nominations work?
Anyone can nominate a local business in the People’s Choice Awards! We also encourage businesses to self-nominate so they can be voted on by their customers and peers.
Once nominations close, voting will open and the people of the Orange region will determine the winner of each category.
2025 BUSINESS ORANGE AWARDS INFORMATION:
Entries for the 2025 Business Orange Awards are now closed and judging has commenced!
Eligibility:
- The Business Orange Awards Program is open to businesses of all sizes operating within the Orange Region.
- Businesses must have a valid ABN to be considered.
- Established businesses may enter up to two categories and will be automatically entered into categories for Excellence in Micro, Small or Large business depending on their size.
- Businesses less than two years old may only enter the Outstanding New Business Category.
- Board Members of Business Orange and current contractors with access to awards information will not enter the Awards to avoid any conflict of interest.
Judging:
Submissions are confidential and reviewed by a panel of independent judges sourced through other Regional Business Chambers aligned with Business NSW. Each submission is then scored and ranked against assessment criteria.
Finalists and winners are selected from this independent assessment process and their submissions are de-identified to ensure the Awards are fair and without bias.
