About Kristina:

Kristina Karlsson is the founder of kikki.K, the globally loved Swedish design & stationery business.

After growing up on a small farm in Sweden, at the age of 22 she found herself in a new country, half a world away from family and friends, with little money and a big dream.

Kristina sold everything she owned to create kikki.K – a business she built from the ground up to an empire of over 120 award winning retail stores in 5 countries; over 1500 passionate team members; an online store serving stationery & design lovers in over 150 countries; and total revenue of $650m.

After the forced closure of her stores during COVID and exiting kikki.K in heartbreaking circumstances, Kristina started again and built another successful retail business, Dream Life, and now has a best-selling book and millions of podcast downloads.

Kristina is a respected entrepreneur internationally and has a reputation for innovation and grit. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from Kristina’s real-world experiences and practical approach to achieving big goals.

About the event:

This year Kristina Karlsson will share her candid story of resilience, reinvention and starting over.

After building her brand from scratch and experiencing the dizzying highs of global success, Kristina also went through the crushing lows of a pandemic-created business failure outside of her control.

Over lunch, you will hear the real lessons behind failure and learn how to turn setbacks into powerful comebacks. The session will be equal parts vulnerable, inspiring and practical – with simple and effective, everyday actions to rise stronger when life or business doesn’t go to plan.

Event includes lunch and sweet treats from The Flour Miller’s Wife, with lucky door prize valued at $599 kindly donated by Quest Preston.

Who should attend?

This event is perfect for all retailers, business leaders, community leaders and professionals as the lessons Kristina shares are relevant to any level and any industry.

It’s also a wonderful opportunity for community members with an interest in entrepreneurship to meet one of Australia’s most beloved founders.
