Ronald McDonald House Central West NSW is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing free accommodation and vital programs for eligible families with ill and injured children and mothers experiencing high-risk pregnancy from across NSW.
Ronald McDonald House Central West opened in 2015, within the grounds of Orange Health Service. Our House in Orange supports families from across NSW who have a child aged 18 and under, needing treatment at Orange’s three hospitals. In 2024 our services grew to include a Hospitality Cart program in the Dubbo Hospital that supports families with children in the Paediatric Ware and Special Care Nursery. This Volunteer-led program grew to include Bathurst Hospital in May 2026 and delivers essential and comfort items to families at their child’s bedside.
Our accommodation, programs and services are provided free of charge to the families we support – helping them stay close and together when they need it most. We are supported by over 160 volunteers who dedicate their time to our families by keeping the house open and running 365 days of the year.
